How many sessions will my child need?
In order to create a trusting therapeutic relationship with your child I provide a minimum of 15 or 30 sessions.
How do we know its working?
There are several ways we can look at how successful play therapy is.

The first, and I find most important way, is to see a change in your child. At first as the therapy is starting, this may be negative changes whilst they process big feelings. However, over time, seeing your child becoming more confident, or able to express or manage their feelings, become more outgoing etc will show you that the play therapy is helping your child.

I will go through a form with you at the first parent meet called an Strengths and Difficulties Score (SDQ) this will give us a baseline score to then reassess half way through our agreed sessions and then again at the final session.

My results so far have shown:
-
71% reduction in emotional symptoms
-
68% reduction in hyperactivity
-
80% reduction in conduct problems
-
61% reduction in peer problems
